Enjoy Proper Cardiovascular Workout

Well we’re already in March! Can you believe it! 3 months since we opened the doors to FORM Fitness Pilates. All of our members are enjoying the studio and their commitment to their health and well being is inspiring. We’re loving everyone’s positive feedback and most of all hearing their achievements so far. No more back pain, I have more energy, I feel stronger, my clothes are getting looser and my favourite….There is a gap between my thighs!!

All of our classes were created with variety in mind and depending on what each individual is looking for they can find it here at FORM.

While Pilates focuses on posture & alignment, core and overall strength, we mustn’t forget to add cardio to our weekly workout routine. Other classes we offer, FORM Barre & FORM FIIT, are great ways to get your heart rate elevated by adding one or both of these classes to your weekly schedule.

When we hear people complaining about exercise with comments such as “it’s boring”, “it’s too hard”, “I’m not fit enough” or “I haven’t got the time”, these are all just excuses. The secret is finding a type of exercise and a place to exercise that you actually enjoy. If someone told us that we had to run and that’s the only way we could achieve results……forget it, we can’t stand running but have found 5-10 other activities we really enjoy. Of Course FORM FIIT and Barre are the top of the list!

Health and fitness experts recommend 150 minutes of moderate cardio or 75 minutes of vigorous cardio exercise each week. So two of our more cardio based classes at FORM every week ticks that box…..Woohoo!!
